Hello All,

I have a newly purchased HP Chromebook - 15-de0518wm and I am using it to telecommute during social distancing. I have activated the function keys in settings, but am unable to get f23 to work. When I try pressing shift/search/and hyphen at the same time, I get the results from the f11 function key.It appears when I press shift and then search, the shift arrow at the bottom of my screen disappears.

Can anyone help me with this, I vitally need ot use f23 for my work at home.

Thank you.

I understand that you are unable to get the f23 function to work.

Please let us know F23 which function key. Please explain in details

If possible please share the pictures.

Was the below written by a bot?

I very clearly stated that I followed the instructions to enable the top row of keys on my Chromebook to operate as f function keys. All of these keys (f1-f24) operate as they should with the exception of f23. When I attempt to access f23, I press shift/search/- but instead I receive the results for f11 (shift/-). I cannot take a photo of something that is not happening.

Is there a way to create a shortcut to access the f23 function other than the shift/search/-?

Thank you,
