HP Laptop - 15-ef1041nr

I can not get my laptop to connect to my docking station so I can use dual monitors. My product is an HP Laptop -15-ef1041nr. When I plug in the dock, I can see my external mouse on my laptop screen, but nothing on my monitors. I have tried using an usbc to a adapter and still no progress. Is this a done deal?  Can this be fixed or do i need another laptop?

The specs of your machine is

             https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06955372

It ONLY has 1 hopeless SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to

  • Charge your machine,
  • Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter (some hubs may have builtin chip to support this)

If you wish to connect 2 external monitors (only-total 3), you can use

  • Monitor 1: HDMI direct cable,
  • Monitor 2: Using a Displaylink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter such as

                                     USB to HDMI Adapter

Thank you for that information. I just received my monitor today. It is the samsung 49 inch Viewfinity S9 with built in Docking station Model code  LS49C954UANXZA. model s49c954uan.  Are you saying i will not be able to use my laptop with this monitor?

@BlkClover

No, connecting it to USB-C port on your computer won't work. You can connect it to HDMI port BUT won't get full resolution.
