The camera since I installed windows 11 works only few times and very unexpectantly. I cannot count on it. Microsoft support cannot solve the issue. There is no driver for windows 11 on the HP site either, only for windows 10. When I am looking for the camera the error 0xA00F4292 no camera attached appears. It seems that there is no hardware problem since the camera works sometimes. Can anybody help me?

Hi @AnnaFotini,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I understand that you are getting error 0xA00F4273 no camera is attached. I'd like to help!
When did you install Windows 11? There is a Go back feature that will allow your device to go back to Windows 10 prior to the date of installation.
I checked the website it appears that it did not yet release a driver for Windows 11 version, the last time released the driver for the camera is for Windows 11.
Here are the steps you can try.
-Go to Device Manager
-Expand the Camera or Imaging Device
-Look for the Camera driver that was installed
-Right-click and Update
-Look for "Browse my computer for driver
-Let me pick drivers available, drivers
-Choose an old driver and use it.
-Go to Settings
-Click Apps then Apps and Features
-Look for the Camera App and click it
-Click Advance Options
-Scroll down and Reset the camera.
Allow apps to access the camera.
Go to Start > Settings > Privacy > Camera.
Choose your preferred setting for Allow apps to access your camera.
Under Choose which apps can access your camera, turn the individual settings for apps On or Off.
Restart your computer and test the camera.
If the issue persists, proceed with these steps.
-Go to Device Manager
-Expand the Camera or Imaging Device
-Look for the Camera driver that was installed
-Right-click and Uninstall
Once uninstalled, go to this link and download and install the old driver.
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp100501-101000/...
Once downloaded and installed restart and check the camera.
I hope the information above helps. Please let me know how it goes.
Have a wonderful day ahead and stay safe.
