Microsoft Windows 11

I have stupidly deleted the keyboard driver on my hp envy, thinking it would reinstall on reboot.

The instructions I was following said it would detect the keyboard as a new device. It didn't 😞

So if you could please advise what & where the keyboard driver is located I'd be appreciative.

BTW, I did this because my keyboard, After the latest Windows update, behaved like the keys were sticking or not responding at all.  Sigh

You did not mention the model of your laptop. If you have a touch screen you can use that and bring up a virtual keyboard. If you don't have a touch screen you'll have to borrow a usb keyboard.

Please provide the Product ID or exact model name for better assistance. Preferably the full product ID including the characters after the # symbol.
