Hey guys!
I bought Hp Victus 15, But my display seemed a little off... When I went over to display > Advanced display, I saw that was set to 60Hz and the option to change it disappeared. I rummaged through the display properties and saw that it was not connected to the usual display driver, but to a very basic generic driver, which never allowed me to change the refresh rate.
I also tried going to the NVIDIA control panel, and dont have display option, my display adapter is connected to AMD not to Nvidia and cant change 60hz
Help me with this, cause the laptop feels Horrible with a 60Hz refresh rate...

That is the driver of the integrated graphic, without that driver you always use the generic one, you must have probably corrupted windows files, and maybe you should reinstate windows.
try these steps:
In windows search type CMD, in the result click run as administrator and type (One at a time and then enter)
sfc /scannow
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth
Dism.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
then restart windows and check.

In my experience when a driver is not recognized, it is usually because you used drivers not supported by HP, damaged windows files, used unsupported overclocking software, and did not install all the drivers or update the BIOS. Sorry if I insist but you will have to reinstall windows.
