hi!

So i have been planning to buy hp Omen 15-dc1025cl  from US and get it in India. But i have been seeing answers that global warranty is not being provided on those product which are not sold in India ( even if the model name is different but the specs are almost same). So i just want to confirm if i will get warranty on this product or not. Also, i really think that you should remove your policy of global warranty as this is misleading many people into buying laptops form outside and shipping then in their country and not receiving any warranty as most of the products are available in their own specific country only.

You will not get a warranty in India since that exact same model is not marketed and supported in India.

I agree with your comments regarding the coverage but this is a peer to peer forum.

 

From what I can see, the only HP PC's that have global warranty coverage are the business class PC's where the same model is sold worldwide...For example, a HP 250 G7 sold in the USA is also sold in India.

 

I suggest you direct your comments to the HP executive team at the link below regarding their warranty policy...
