IM having trouble with the touch screen when I bend the screen back to use it as a tablet

HP Recommended
Pavilion x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

This problem is on an HP pavilion x 360. It is fully up to date and everything. the touch screen works fine when its in the laptop configuration but as soon as I bend it back to use it as a tablet the touchscreen stops working as soon as the magnet on the top of the screen connects to the back of the laptop. I do not know how to fix this issue. Can someone help?
