27f Display
macOS 10.15 Catalina

I'm working with my MacBook Pro and hp 27f Display connected by the original HDMI cable.

MacBook Pro works perfectly connected to another monitor, but with 27f Display I have continuous message

Input Signal Not Found

Check the video cable and video source

Display Going to Sleep

I tried to use the cable that I use with other monitor, but the issue persists.

@paoloeagle

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

While you respond to that, let's try these steps:

  • Note Before you begin: Turn off the computer.
  • And disconnect all connected devices from the computer except the mouse and keyboard. This includes removing thumb drives and camera-type memory cards.

Step 1: Checking the power

Step 2: Displaying a built-in on-screen message

Step 3: Fixing a bad video connection

Step 4: Testing the video connection

Step 4: Connecting the monitor to a different computer

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
