hey there Im currently having this issue with my HP monitor. I leave my Macbook laptop connected to the monitor as a second screen. I will usually get this "input signal not found. Check the video cable and video source " prompt when I awake the computer in the morning. I then unplug the power from the back of the monitor and plug it back in and it magically works. It will usually work for the day or until it's been left idle for a decent period of time.
Any guidance would be appreciated. Below are the specs of the monitor I purchased
HP U28 4K HDR - Computer Monitor for Content Creators with IPS Panel, HDR, and USB-C Port - Wide Screen 28-inch, with Factory Color Calibration and 65w Laptop Docking - (1Z978AA),Black/Silver
