I understand how frustrating it must be to have your Intel AV Stream Camera stop working after the latest driver update. You’ve done a great job identifying the issue, and I appreciate your patience.

Troubleshooting Steps:

1. Roll Back to Previous Driver

  • Right-click and select PropertiesDriver tab.
  • Click Roll Back Driver (if available) and restart your laptop.

2. Reinstall the Camera Driver

  • Visit the HP Spectre x360 Driver Page and download the previous Intel AV Stream Camera driver.
  • Uninstall the current driver via Device ManagerUninstall device.
  • Restart your laptop and install the downloaded driver.

3. Check Windows Update

  • Sometimes, Windows Update automatically installs missing drivers:
    • Open SettingsWindows UpdateCheck for updates.
    • Install any pending updates related to camera drivers.

4. Reset Camera Permissions

  • Open SettingsPrivacy & SecurityCamera.
  • Ensure Camera access is enabled.
  • Scroll down and verify that apps like Zoom and Microsoft Teams have permission.

5. Use HP Support Assistant

  • Download HP Support Assistant from HP’s official site.
