Hi:

You should be able to manually install the latest Intel HD graphics driver as follows...

Create a system restore point so you can go back to the current driver state just in case the updated driver does not work to your expectations.

Download the ZIP file version of the latest Intel graphics driver from the link below...

Version: 26.20.100.6912 (Latest)   Date: 6/19/2019

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/28888/Intel-Graphics-Windows-10-DCH-Drivers?product=126789

Unzip the file to its folder.  Don't do anything with the files in the folder.

Go to the device manager, click to expand the Display Adapters device manager category.

Click on the Intel HD graphics adapter listed there.

Click on the driver tab.   Click on Update Driver.

Select the Browse my computer for driver software option, and then at the bottom of that window, select the Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.

Click on Have Disk, and browse to the unzipped graphics driver folder>Graphics>iigd_dch (setup information file), click Next, and the driver should install.

Be patient as it could take up to a couple of minutes for the driver to install.

When the installation is complete, restart the PC.

Dear Paul,

Thank you very much for your advise .

You're very welcome.

If you install the Intel® Driver & Support Assistant (Intel® DSA) application , it will check your PC for updates to any Intel hardware.

If a new graphics driver is found, now it should download it, and automatically install the driver.

Hi:

The link I gave you is for the Intel support assistant, not the HP one.

The Intel support assistant will keep your Intel drivers up to date.
