Spectre x360 13-4040nd
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I tried to install the latest video driver update sp85248.exe but it fails to install on my Spectre 360 13-4040nd.

 

I get an error message that my system does not meet the minimum system requirements. 

 

How is that possible? And how to solve it?

Hello sanniep,

These drivers were derived from your computer's HP Software and Drivers page. They might help with the minimum system requirements issue.

Since they aren't really generic Intel drivers, you can try them out.

Otherwise, you can also opt for trying to update the graphics through Device Manager.

Try these updates:

 

Intel Chipset Installation Utility and Driver

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp72001-72500/sp72025.exe

 

Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) Driver

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp72001-72500/sp72022.exe

 

HP Notebook System BIOS Update (Intel Processors)

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp86501-87000/sp86795.exe

The driver I tried to install, is hp specific: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-spectre-13-4000-x360-convertible-pc/75...

 

 I cannot install generic Intel drivers either because a company specific driver is already installed.

Installing the three drivers had no effect. At least two of them were already installed. 

Updating the device drive through Device Manager was successful. This installed driver 20.19.15.4963.
