Hello,

The display of my new laptop is very bright and the white background seems to glow, heavily distracting my eyes from the text. I appreciate if anyone can advise on a way to improve the visual experience.

Furthermore, upon re-opening the lid and resuming work from sleep state, the brightness goes to the maximum value of the scale. I need to touch the brightness keys in the sequence f3 and f4 or f4 and f3 to restore the desired brightness from the previous session.  I have never had this issue with earlier Windows OSs. Is there a solution?
