Have an intermittent display issue that is best described as being distorted (like an 'Interference' pattern). (Will attempt to attach a photo &/or video).
The fault is hardware related rather than software related, as the intermittent issue will sometimes appear at startup during the HP splash screen before Windows loads. The issue does not present on an external monitor when connected.
Sometimes when the issue occurs, turning up the screen brightness using the F3* function key will resolve the issue, and then turning the brightness down (f2* function key), will result in the issue occurring again.
Other times will persist even when increasing / decreasing the brightness, and I just have to wait it out for the fault to desist.
Rotating the screen while the issue is present, does not seem to affect the issue (therefore it is not a loose connection.
I haven't been able to determine if there is a correlation between the notebook being cold or warm at this stage. I have seen it appear momentarily from a cold start, and have seen the issue appear after 4 - 5 hours with constant use.
