Hello HP Community,

I am experiencing an issue with my HP laptop, and I need your assistance. Here are the details of the problem:

  • Issue: A black box intermittently appears on my screen, often during startup and also at random times while I am using the laptop. The black box fluctuates in size and then disappears.
  • Appearance: The black box appears at the top of the screen, spanning the full width but with varying height. It tends to become larger and fluctuates before eventually disappearing.
  • Frequency: This issue occurs mostly when I first open the laptop and start Windows, but it also happens randomly during regular use.
  • Troubleshooting Steps Taken:
    • Updated graphics drivers.
    • Checked screen resolution and refresh rate settings.
    • Tested with an external monitor (no issues observed).
    • Ran the System File Checker (SFC) tool and performed a malware scan.
    • Booted into Safe Mode, where the issue did not occur.
    • Performed a clean boot to rule out software conflicts.

Despite these efforts, the issue persists. Any advice on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated. If more information is needed, please let me know.
