Hey,
I've recently been looking into ways to improve my laptop's performance and increasing my RAM, and getting an external GPU for my HP Envy x360 seemed maybe as a solution. The Razer Core X or Razer Core X Chroma are so far what I have found. Unfortunately this eGPU requires a thunderbolt 3 port or higher. So far I think I do not have a thunderbolt 3 port or higher. I'm wondering if there is any way I could still use the eGPU as it is intended. I've been looking into this extensively for the past few days and have only found others with the same issue. If you could identify if I have a thunderbolt port and if not, any ways I could still use an eGPU or improve RAM that would be much appreciated.

Only one option: buy a new machine with Thunderbolt™ 3 or Thunderbolt™ 4 port. You need a very fast port.
