I have gone through your Post and would like to help

 

As per the Service Guide: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05310058, there are no mentions of Active Pen or Stylus for this Model

 

But you can use a Passive stylus. A passive stylus  is a pen that acts just like a finger when touching a device screen. There is no communication between a passive stylus and a device.
