HP Recommended

I was working on my HP Elitebook 1030 G3 x360 & the touchscreen stopped working suddenly without pressing anything. I’ve tried the usual mumbo jumbo of drivers & software updates nothing seems to be working. Would I need to change my screen totally?

 

this is disheartening, I loved this PC but there’s no chance in hell I’m changing the screen, I’ll rather ditch the whole PC & try other brands. 

ps: I’m open to suggestions if it’s fixable without having to change the entire screen.
