HP ZBook Studio G4 Mobile Workstation
Microsoft Windows 11

I am experiencing an issue with my HP ZBook G4 laptop. The laptop is equipped with an Intel integrated graphics card and an additional Nvidia Quadro M1200 GPU. When I connect an external monitor via HDMI, the laptop recognizes the new device (indicated by the connection sound), but it does not display any image on the external monitor.

The laptop is running Windows 11 with the Nvidia driver version 556.12 installed. Interestingly, if I restart the laptop with the HDMI cable connected or disable and re-enable the Nvidia GPU in the Device Manager, the external monitor starts working correctly.

I do not believe this is a hardware issue, as the same laptop running Windows 10 recognizes and connects to the external monitor immediately upon plugging in the HDMI cable.

Could you please assist me in resolving this issue?
