HP 27f Monitor

I connected my new HP 27f monitor to my Mac Laptop and it works fine, but sometimes, randomly, the monitor screen looses its colors and turns overall greenish (it still has colors, but all colors have a green overlay). If I turn the monitor off and turn it on again, it is back to its standard colors and looks good. The Monitor Status says

HDMI 1: inactive

HDMI2: active

VGA: inactive

Color Setting: Viewing Modes

I played with different settings, but it is still happening.

Do you know what settings I should choose so this does not happen anymore?

Thank you,

Nicole

@Nomadics

I reviewed your post and I understand that the color no the monitor changes randomly.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

HP monitors are not supported in a Mac environment. However, newer Macs use graphics with VESA modes and can display to most HP LCD monitors. To do this, connect the monitor to the Mac while the Mac is off, and then turn on the MAC. The monitor should operate at 60Hz. The INF and software for the HP monitor are for Microsoft Windows and cannot be run in a standard MAC OS environment.

I hope that answers your question and you have a great day!
