Once I turn on my laptop, after an hour or so certain keys start messing up. For example, I'll press the W key and it'll type 6 different letters even though I didn't touch those keys. It only happens a while after my laptop turns on. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi @Joe_Cool
Welcome to the HP Support Community. Thanks for bringing this to our notice.
I see that you are facing keyboard-related issues on your system. Do not worry, we are here to fix it.
- May I know from when are you facing this issue?
- Did you make any hardware or software-related changes to it?
- May I know if it happens only while using any particular application?
I recommend you update the BIOS and the chipset driver from the below link and check if it helps.
https://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers
If you continue facing the issue, then uninstall the keyboard driver from the device manager and then restart the computer and test.
Here is how it is done.
- Type "Device Manager" into the search field to open the device manager console.
- Expand the node that represents the type of device that you want to uninstall, right-click the device entry, and click Uninstall.
- On the Confirm Device Removal dialog box, click OK to start the uninstall process.
- When the uninstall process is complete, remove the device.
NOTE: On the Confirm Device Removal dialog box, click the Delete the driver software for this device option to delete the driver package that was used for the device.
If the issue persists, I would suggest you boot your system into the safe mode and check the functionality in the safe mode: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c00806682
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
