HP x360 Spectro

I have HP x360 Spectro, and even though I have already disabled my tablet mode, while I'm rotating my laptop, it behaves like a tablet although the touch is not working, and the keyboard and the Touchpad are also not working. please someone guide me.

Hi @mrxamjad,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If the keyboard and touchpad of your HP x360 Spectre are not working while rotating after disabling tablet mode, there are a few things you can try.

  • Re-enable tablet mode: Go to Settings > System > Tablet mode and make sure that the "Make Windows more touch-friendly..." option is turned on. This will enable tablet mode, which should allow the keyboard and touchpad to work while rotating.
  • Update drivers: Go to the HP website and download the latest drivers for your keyboard and touchpad. Install them and then restart your computer to see if the issue has been resolved.
  • Check device settings: Go to Device Manager, expand the "Human Interface Devices" section, and check if your keyboard and touchpad are listed. If they are, right-click on each device and select "Properties". In the Properties window, check if the "Device status" says "This device is working properly". If it doesn't, try updating the driver for that device or uninstalling and reinstalling the device.
  • Perform a system restore: If the above steps do not work, try performing a system restore to a previous point in time before you disabled tablet mode. This will restore your computer to an earlier state when the keyboard and touchpad were working properly.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
