Hi,

Suddenly an issue regarding the keyboard backlight has occured; it does not activate anymore when I type on the keyboard, and when I press the F9 hotkey to activate the backlight it turns on and then immediately dims down. I can change between Off/dim/bright, but it just dims down immediately.

I have tried installing several version of the "HP Hotkey Support" drivers, and "HP BIOS and System Firmware" but it did not make any difference. I also tried to disable auto-dim in BIOS setup without any change. There seems to be nothing hardware-related errors with the backlight, as it stays on for several seconds during startup as normal.

Any idea what can be wrong here?
