If the backlight stays only for a few seconds, you may need to configure the backlight timeout setting in the BIOS. Note: If there is no backlight time setting in the BIOS, the laptop may not support this operation. Check the product support documentation for the laptop model to confirm whether it is supported. Your BIOS version and screen may be different. 1.Restart the laptop and immediately press F10 repeatedly until the BIOS opens. 2.When the BIOS opens, use the arrow keys to navigate to the Advanced tab. 3.Navigate to Built-in Device Options and press Enter. The "Advanced" tab showing "Built-in device options" is highlighted 4.In "Built-in device options", select Backlit keyboard timeout. 5.Press the space bar to open the keyboard backlight setting, and then select the timeout setting you need. Note: If you select Never, the backlight remains on
