I use my laptop on my lap while sitting in a recliner. Sometimes I'll be typing away and hit a certain combination of keys that disables the touchpad. Then I have to attach a USB mouse, go to Control Panel and Touchpad settings to turn the touchpad back on. Does anyone know the keyboard hotkeys to reactivate the touchpad so I don't have to mess around with the mouse?

You are probably inadvertently tapping the area in top left corner that turns touchpad on/off. Next time it happens try tapping top left corner.

Thanks! It takes multiple hard taps to activate/deactivate the touchpad on my machine. I still wonder what key combination is causing the touchpad to deactivate...

I really have no idea. At least the tap will help hopefully.
