For some reason the two of four backlit sections are a little brighter. The reds, greens and yellows are working fine and the colors look the same on the whole keyboard, but blue, purple and pink look brighter on these two sections. I don't think it's the lights' problem because they were working fine until I wanted to switch up the pattern a little bit and suddenly they got brighter and don't match anymore.

Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I reviewed your post and I understand that some of the sections on the keyboard backlight are brighter.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
I recommend you update the below drivers and check if it helps.
HP System Event Utility: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp88001-88500/sp88257.exe
BIOS: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp97001-97500/sp97145.exe
If you continue facing the issue, then uninstall the HP Omen command center and then download and install it from the below link.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

I installed all the updates and reinstalled Omen Command Center but unfortunately nothing worked. I'm pretty sure it's not the lights' fault because they wouldn't suddenly all stop working, it's like they don't respond correctly to the assigned color. I think I'll try to repair all the apps I have from the win10 settings and maybe something will finally click. Thanks for the help though.

I recommend you perform a system restore back to the date when everything was working fine.
