Hp 15 f272wm
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Someone gave me this HP 15 f272wm. They couldn’t get keyboard working. I took keyboard off. Looks like latch is broken that holds it down. Use plastic and stock paper put can’t get it to recognize keyboard. Can latch be replaced if that is the issue?

The entire keyboard assembly needs to be replaced, here's the service and maintenance guide that you could use: click here and view page. 38-40 of Chapter 6 Removal and replacement procedures for Authorized Service Provider parts

You may order the genuine replacement parts on the HP Parts Store, use the HP Parts Surfer to find the part number and If you've already looked for it and couldn't find it on the HP Parts Store, you may want to get it locally at the online store such as Amazon or eBay, etc...as the part numbers are universal
