Product: HP Laptop PC 17-by4000 (18B36AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The LCD on my 17-by went bad it was a HD so when i purchased a new one I bought a FHD display. Not knowing there was a difference.m  I thought sence they were both 30 pin there shouldn't be a problem. come to find out both display cables have different p/n I installed the FHD and it didn't work. So my question is if I replace the cable should everything work. I do not want to continue down this path if it will not work.  Thanx
