Laptop web camera blur showing

Hi @5134918795

If you're experiencing a blurry webcam image on your HP ProBook 440 14 inch G9 Notebook PC, here are some steps you can take to improve the image quality:

  1. Check Lighting Conditions:

    • Make sure your webcam is not impacted by high-intensity light sources. Lighting conditions that produce a lot of infrared light, such as incandescent or halogen bulbs, can cause issues with image quality.
    • It's recommended to use LED or fluorescent lighting, which contain less infrared light.
  2. Adjust Light Intensity:

    • Try moving light sources a few feet further away from the camera. Direct light can cause glare or wash out, impacting the ability for the webcam to focus clearly.
  3. Update Webcam Drivers:

    • Ensure that you have the latest drivers installed for your webcam. Visit the HP Support website and enter your product details to find and install the latest webcam drivers.
  4. Clean the Webcam Lens:

    • Use a microfiber cloth to gently clean the webcam lens of any dust or smudges that could be blurring the image.

These measures should help mitigate any issues related to blurry webcam images on your notebook.
