So basically I bought this HP Pavilion 15-EC2345NG with a Ryzen 5 5600h and a GTX 1650 without OS. I installed Win10, all drivers up to date and thought everything was good but it isn't.
The dedicated gpu (gtx 1650) is detected by device manager and says "This device is working properly". It shows up on Furmark testing software but on Task manager has ZERO % usage. On the Little right corner windows of Nvida GPU activity it says (Apps in execution in this GPU) and (No existent monitors turned in this GPU)
Also, Notice how nvidia control panel not showing the "display" option, just "3d settings".
Here's the file of the events that happened (sorry some lines are in Portuguese) but I want to point out the important aspect: the first EVENT ID´s (right after I finished installing windows 10) starts with 430 then 400 & 411... Those are Kernel PNP. After that all the following events are Userpnp events. Could this mean that the Dedicated GPU stopped being a integrap part of the computer and started being a periferal that can only be connected via an HDMI cable?
I installed a game (brothers in arms) just to test the system if indeed the dedicated GPU was working or not. I turned off the integraded gpu (amd radeon) and started the game = MASSIVE LAG... checked task manager... didnt move. So yeah, I thought by disabling the integrated GPU I could force the dedicated GPU to step in but it's not working. Basically I have a Laptop with 2 seperate GPUs, 1 of them is just for show.
Long story short, I did find another guy with the same problem (here) and NO solution.
How can HP be this low value? How is HP still in business? How can you create a laptop that can't use it's own GPU?

Thx for your time and the support. Didn't work tho.
I guess I will have to sell it as it is since hp doesn't want it back either.
If anyone proposes "blow up the laptop" or "send it to Hp headquarters with some bull excrements attached" i will accept that solution

Did you check you got the latest drivers installed? Latest W10 updates? Latest Intel drivers? Please go to HP Pavilion Notebook - 15-ab234ng (ENERGY STAR) Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Customer Support and allow HP to "detect your drivers".
Next, check for Windows updates and install.
Next, go to Download Intel Drivers and Software, install program and see if Intel has upgraded drivers for you. After you're done with this Intel program, you can uninstall it.
Hope this helped.
Kind Regards,
