HP Laptop purchased in August 2020 started coming apart at the hinge screw without any undue stress or mistreatment of the laptop. Due to this defective issue, the other side (battery port) has completely come unhinged as well! This computer didn't even last 3 years and I've always purchased HP products. So, I had to go and buy another laptop as this one is unusable and the cost to replace the hinges doesn't make sense. I'm so disappointed with HP's response to this issue - noted on the web by multiple users. I'm over 60 years old and didn't do anything, but open & close the laptop - so this is definitely a defective issue and HP should step up to the plate with a recall or repair stiped for owners as they're aware of this issue.

This is a class complaint regarding a clear defect. You should be recalling these laptops because you know you are causing mass harm. Your customers are being tremendously harmed. Instead of setting up a mysterious secret meeting, you should openly accept responsibility. You have my contact information, contact me. Why send me to another site without the slightest information on what is to be accomplished.
