HP ENVY x360 Laptop - 15-ed0007na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Recently my HP laptop which I have had for a few years now has made clicking noises when opening and closing. I checked what was happening and the lower left corner of the display has come off from the backing as well as the hinge being broken resulting in the laptop not being able to close properly. What can I do to fix it as I do not want the display breaking.

Thank you

Hi @MorganMD01,

Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I see that you are facing hinge issues with your HP ENVY X360 Laptop - 15-Ed0007na.

This could be a hardware issue with the unit and may need repair.

I suggest that you contact HP Service Center in your location from this web link.
Note: Select your country from the dropdown,  enter the city or postal code, select the product, change the radius, and click on search to locate the nearest HP Service center near your location.

Hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
