Microsoft Windows 11

Greetings, I recently bought my new laptop that has a silver keyboard and I'm having great difficulty in using it in certain light. Sadly it's not backlit and I would appreciate any suggestions how to overcome the problem please.  I'm even thinking of letrasetting each key to try and correct it but that seems a bit drastic.

I should mention that under the bright lighting in the store display it was fine.

Many thanks, 😊

I don't know why the designers did not listen to the end customers. We mentioned this problem few years ago, I also talked with Dell (one of my Dell machines has same problem).

I solved the problem by using external keyboard (Actually I use external keyboards, mice and monitors for all my machines, except the Microsoft Surface) . What wrong with using darker keyboards on silver tops as many HP business machines.

Back to your case, you may turn off backlit.

Regards.
