Hi @bilalhashmi,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand that your PC has been lagging after the BIOS update—I'm sorry to hear about the issue. I recommend trying a BIOS Restore, which will revert the system to a working BIOS version. Please give it a try and let me know if it helps or if you need further assistance!

BIOS Restore :
1) Shutdown the computer, keep the  charger plugged
2) Hold down the Windows and B button together while the computer is still turned off.
3) Turn on the computer and continue to hold the Windows and B button until a BIOS Recovery screen appears.
4) Follow on-screen instructions and click on OK

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

Hi @bilalhashmi,

Thank you for letting me know, as you are still having trouble request you to please run a component test on the Pc and let me know if the test passes or fails on any component so I can try to get more help.

Extensive Test

1. Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.
2. Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second. When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
3. On the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI) main menu, click System Tests.
4. Click Extensive Test.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
