I recently purchased the Laptop I listed in the product name to this post.  However, when attempting to connect to my (HP Elite Display E242 WUXGA 24" LED Business/Home Monitor HDMI/DP/USB/VGA GC [Serial # CN4720132X]) external display monitor....the computer does not detect the display.  I contacted the business that I purchased the laptop from and they indicated that the laptop's HDMI interface was verified as working before they sent it to me.  I have tried 2 separate HDMI cables and looked on youtube and tried several different troubleshooting steps I viewed there but it is still not detecting the external display.  The monitor connects and works with my old Windows 10 computer.  Do you have any idea as to what the problem may be?  Is a separate driver required for Windows 11?
