HP Spectre X360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a relatively new HP spectre 13" x360 convertible laptop. It only appears to charge when I'm not using it. When I am using it and have it plugged in, the charge continues to go down as if it's not charging at all. Additionally, it always says it's charging, even when it's not plugged in (icon on the laptop screen shows it's charging and the charging light near the charging port stays on). I just noticed this today for the first time. I immediately shut it down and as soon as I turned it back on, there was a black screen saying the driver needed repaired and showed an increasing percentage as it was being "fixed." I checked the hard-drive status and it said it was okay. I tried uninstalling the batteries in device manager and restarting, but neither did anything. I'm at a loss of how to fix this or if it's not fixable. Any advice would be much appreciated!

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I recommend you update the BIOS from the below link and check whether the issue is resolved.
