Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I am writing to report an issue with my HP laptop screen. A dark rectangular shadow has appeared on the display and remains visible at all times — even when the device is powered off or when accessing the BIOS screen.

I would like to confirm that this issue is not related to the software or graphics drivers, as it persists outside the operating system environment. It seems to be a hardware-related screen defect.

Additionally, I would like to ask if such a screen issue could be caused by accidentally leaving the device open for an extended period on a static image, or if it could result from external physical pressure.

I would appreciate guidance on the next steps for repair or screen replacement.
