My new Pavillion laptop worked beautifully since I purchased it last December until last week. All of sudden the laptop display didn't work, but only displayed on external screen with use of HDMI cable. I took a number of actions to resolve the issue, but no avail. As a result, the laptop became useless without an external screen, and I'm now unable to travel with the laptop. Help me out, please.

I understand that the notebook display is not working, I am glad to assist you.
This seems to be a hardware issue, but the support here is limited to software troubleshooting. However, since the unit might need repair I would request you to contact HP Phone support who would have an option to schedule a repair as per the warranty to get the issue fixed.
