Has anyone been successful in getting a 15-fd0215dx to work with a docking station or port replicator?

We purchased a bundle and assumed that a laptop bundled with a dock had the proper USB-C port to handle displays. Turns out this model does not have Thunderbolt, only SS.

Your only option is to buy a dock with DisplayLink technology; these docks use software and hardware to transmit video through USB ports. Here’s a link so you can look into these docks and find the model you’re interested in using a search engine.

Thank you for the quick response. I think I'll just take the bundle back and buy a unit that has a Thunderbolt port. Seems odd to bundle incompatible hardware.

You're welcome; this model isn't a premium model, premium models are at least 30% more expensive.
