HP Pavilion Laptop PC 14-dv1000 (464V0AV)

Hi all, I have been having an issue with my laptop since I purchased it at the end of May. The Pavillion 14 laptop with 11th Gen i5/8GB/512GB SSD/FHD non touch repeatedly froze when I watch videos via the internet with Chrome and Edge. The laptop would freeze all of the sudden and the only way to fix this is to perform a reboot every time. Even opening a single YouTube tab at full HD is enough to freeze the laptop entirely. In the past, I noticed that even just doing normal web browsing could trigger the freeze but lately it is exclusively when watching videos (perhaps I have just been binging more anime and Youtube in general).

The issue seems to happen faster if I connect the laptop to an external display via HDMI, but either way, the freeze will happen eventually in 30 minutes or around. Funnily enough, I have no issue playing the Sims 4 with the laptop, and I ran extended diagnostics multiple times on all components and yet they all passed. I have ensured BIOS and all other drivers are up to date and even have the OS reinstalled and yet this problem persists. Happens regardless of charging status, plugged in or not.

Just to give more info I have opened task manager and resource monitor just so that when the laptop freezes it acts as a recorder of what happened at the time. I will upload it here and hopefully, someone can help me with this very strange issue!

Thank you 😊
