HP Envy x360 Convertible 15m-bp0xx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The laptop after a windows update would not show me the display. Then I did some research online and it said that after a windows update this can happen. It suggested to update the video card driver which I did. Also to do a BIOS recovery which I also did. After the BIOS recover everything went back to normal. Inl tested it for a few days and everything seemed to be back to normal. Then I gave laptop back to my wife and afte Rhee first use no display problem returned but it was a little different. It said this

CMOS Reset (502) The CMOS CHEKSUM is Invalid

It asked me to press enter and then after a few attempts at reboot it came back on. Does anyone have an idea with what is going on? I would really appreciate insight in this matter.

Thanks

As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Have a great day!
