I purchased a QGeem USB-C 9 port docking station.  The USB devices i plugged into it work fine with the laptop i purchased.  However, the display will not recognize the monitors i have connected via HDMI.  When I connect the docking station to my phone i the phone screen is displayed on the screens.  The laptop is a touchscreen, is that why it wont transmit the display?  Is there a driver update i can download to get it to work?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do they (laptop and dock) COMPATIBLE ? The specs of your machine is

It has

 

  • 1 HDMI 1.4b;
  • 1 headphone/microphone combo;
  • 1 USB 3.1 Type-C™ Gen 1 (Data Transfer up to 5 Gb/s);
  • 2 USB 3.1 Gen 1 (Data transfer only);
  • 1 AC smart pin

As you can see USB-C port is not for video out directly.
