HP Pavilion x360 - 15t-dq100 CTO
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP pavilion x360 and over the last month it has started occasionally disconnecting itself from the wifi. An easy fix, I just re-connect. But every time it does this it also triggers another weird quirk. I keep night light mode on all the time and when it suddenly disconnects from the wifi the night light also turns off but it still says it's on so even when I toggle it off and on it never comes back on. I have to restart the entire thing before it'll fix itself.

Anyone know what would trigger these two issues simultaneously every time and how I could fix it?

Hi@NekoOuji,

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!

I see you are experiencing issues with the HP Pavilion X360 laptop randomly disconnects from Wi-Fi.

I have a few recommendations

  • Update your Notebook computer to the latest BIOS and update the network adapters from HP.COM.
  • Make sure the Windows and HP support assistant updates are up to date.
  • Run HP PC Hardware Diagnostics is a Windows-based utility that allows you to run diagnostic tests to determine whether the computer hardware is functioning properly. The tool runs within the Windows operating system in order to diagnose hardware failures.
  • Try doing Reset PC Keep my files from windows and check if it works.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
