When I watch videos from certain apps (Netflix, Hulu, and the pre-installed generic video app) I have noticed that after 10ish seconds of watching a video in full screen mode the color dulls and becomes less vibrant. Once I move the cursor the color goes back to normal...and then 10 seconds later it dulls again. (It is quite annoying to have to continuously wiggle the mouse in order to get the correct coloration of the videos.)
I have not been able to find any similar situations online, so I hope someone here can help me out. Thanks!

Hi lo_ve,
I can recommend graphics driver updates, however, a specific model/product number would be appreciated. (Please do not post serial numbers on the HP Support Forum)
Information on how to find a laptop's model/product number is detailed in this HP document.
- Does this occur on videos played on a web browser?
- Also please test the video playback on an external display to see if it happens on there
Awaiting your response,

Hi kem579!
Thanks for responding!
The Product number is 1KT49UA#ABA
This problem does not happen when I am viewing a video from a web browser, and I am unable to test the playback on an external display at this time.
Thanks for the help,
lo_ve

Hi lo_ve,
Apologies for the late reply.
You could try this driver package (assuming you're running the latest version of Windows 10):
Intel High-Definition (HD) Graphics Driver (Windows 10 v1709)
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp82001-82500/sp82500.exe
Please check under an Intel Graphics control panel or an NVIDIA control panel for graphics enhancement options for video playback.
Also please check under Settings > Apps > Video Playback and see if there are any settings that may be messing around with video graphics.
You may also need to adjust power settings as Windows may be trying to conserve power.
Regards,
kem579
