Product: OMEN Laptop - 17t-cb100 IDS Base Model
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Hello, the left portion of my screen is black. This was due to an object landing on it. Anhow, the laptop works great I just need to replace the screen and not sure what to order to be fully compatible with my laptop.

Go to the below site and enter your serial number
https://partsurfer.hp.com/partsurfer/

Look for the part you need such as fan, cable, battery, etc.
Once you find the part number you can search the internet for a vendor. Amazon, eBay, AliExpress, all have their own search engines.

Display Screen: Screens can have OEM parts such as LG, Samsung, etc. An HP part number may include the OEM screen plus mounting hardware which makes it easier to replace but sometimes harder to find if the system is older than a few years.

When you search for the part number be sure to include AliExpress as most screens are made in Asia. To find disassembly video
