I've had this TS-15 laptop since about 2018 & a few months back somehow humidity got under (between what I assume is double layered) the display plastic.
Not sure if it's related to the bandaid over the camera & what looks to be two mic ports, however it occured shortly after.
Is there any guide on accessing the outer clear plastic of the touchscreen so I can clean it?
It looks like I might need a guitar pick to separate the halves of the upper & then unscrew the display itself to do so, but I'm hoping there's a less intrusive option.
There's a rubber "boot" (also pictured below) surrounding the screen, wonder if that might be the retaining element.
The white mark pictured is there whether it's on or off, it just appeared & slowly grew from about the size of a dime to 3" across.
No clue how the moisture got in but it's driving me nuts! Doesn't affect the touchscreen or graphics underneath, just looks gross.
Das boot around the perimeter:
