Today suddenly my laptop screen went pink. My screen is having a pinkish hue and there are vertical lines of the dark colour displayed alongside. When I tried to remote access my screen on a phone the colour is normal. How could I fix this issue or is my laptop display gone completely, requiring replacement?

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are facing issues with the display on the computer.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
I recommend you update the BIOS and the graphics driver from the below link and check whether the issue is resolved.
BIOS: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp106001-106500/sp106009.exe
Intel: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp85001-85500/sp85428.exe
Nvidia: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp85001-85500/sp85045.exe
If you continue facing the issue, then boot to BIOS by tapping the F10 on the restart and check whether you are able to duplicate the issue in the BIOS screen.
Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

Thank you for the initiative to help but unfortunately, none of the above fixed my stated issue. I tried updating the BIOS, intel graphics driver and Nvidia graphics driver but the problem still persists. I checked in the BIOS screen and the problem is still there. I checked with multiple OS like Ubuntu, Windows, and others and the issue is still there. Also, a weird pattern I observed is when I use any application for a while then some darker tinge lines start forming.
Help from your side for the same will be highly appreciated.

Thank you for the update.
As you have mentioned that you are able to duplicate the issue in the BIOS screen as well that confirms a hardware issue and I recommend you contact support to check the available service options for your computer.
Here is how you can get in touch with support.
1)Click on this link – www.hp.com/contacthp/
2)Select the product type.
3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.
4)Select the country from the drop-down.
5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
