Left Corner of hinge screen broken

I can no longer open or close the labtop screen without feeling as though I will break it, and currently have duct tape over the hinge to make sure it doesn't completely come apart. I have only had it for a little over a year and did not think this would become an issue after not having it for a long time. I would like to know how this can be fixed if it can be and how much it would be to repair.

I recommend you contact support and they will assist you with the available service options for your computer.

Here is how you can get in touch with support.

1)Click on this link – www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
