Life span of LCD Screens HP Probook 440 G3
02-16-2021 05:52 AM

We have a number of Probook 440 G3's acquired around May of 2016 and late last year a number of had screen issues.
3 developed dead pixels and flickers from time to time and a few have blurred and distorted screen.
Is the screen of this model just last for about 5 years?

HP only warranties their PCs for one year and I believe the Care Packs are only for three years -- so a laptop lasting 5 years is actually quite good. However, that said, HP does not publish any MTBF numbers for any of its components.

@WAWood thank you for the information. I am just looking into the community if anyone had similar experience with regards to having the screen broke down after a number of years for the 440 model.
