Limited video to 46mins. Why?

Just bought an HP Envy Laptop 2.4 12gb ram 250g SSD running Corel Studio 9.5
it’s always worked fine on my desktop but for some reason I can only drop 46 mins of video onto time lime for it to output an MP4 file that plays ok for the full 46mins.
If I put 47 mins on the time line, or more, the MP4 file stops playing at around 15mins, the curser still travels along just showing a still picture. I have 150gb free on disc C (one drive)
Any idea what is causing this problem?

@Foxall Have you installed or used any other software on this device to identify if this is an issue with the computer or the corel studio? If not, please do.

And I suggest contacting the corel studio tech support for more details on resolving this issue as its seems to be a glitch on the tool: click here to check the user guide i found online.

I also recommend you update the graphics card and the BIOS of your device and ensure the device supports the system requirements of the software.

Corel Studio has always worked fine in my Desk top but although the two computers have 16Gb mem my desk top runs at 3.1htz and the lap top runs at 2.4 but far exceeds the program requirements. I have  already updated the drivers, and it will play back the camera video out putted as,  I think m2t? But if I output it as Mpg  it will only playback that file if it does not exceed around 46mins if I have shots which exceed this it will stop at around 15 mins

but I have given up on it now so thank you for all your help and I will keep on using my desktop.

@Foxall Alright, If it ever worked on this device, I suggest you reinstall the application, on a new user account and check if that works fine, alternatively, I urge you to contact the software manufacturer to assist you resolve the issue specific to this software as that should know what needs to be done, to fix this issue.
